What we do

FACTUM Agency provides marketing services to home service businesses: Google Business Profile setup and management, review collection, missed-call capture and response, websites, and paid local advertising. What is included for you is set out in your own written agreement, which controls if it differs from anything on this site.

Ownership and termination

Domains registered for the client are registered in the client's name from the start. Domains from FACTUM's own portfolio (market-ready domains) remain FACTUM's property; the client's site content is theirs and can be rebuilt on a domain of their own.

On termination the client receives their site as a static export — pages, text, images — usable on any host. FactumOps (call handling, messaging, photo requests, lead cards, reporting) is FACTUM's system and is not part of the export; the client receives an export of their leads and call log.

Google Business Profile and other platform profiles are owned by the client; FACTUM operates them under manager access that the client can revoke at any time.

The tracked phone number is provided and owned by FACTUM and stays with FACTUM on termination. A number the client brought in and ported to FACTUM is ported back to the client at cost.

Either party may end the service at the end of any paid month. No early-termination fees.

Standard plans cover one business location, up to six managed profiles, a site of up to eight pages at launch, one package of site changes per month, and the messaging and call volume stated in the plan; usage beyond that and custom development are quoted separately.

FACTUM provides advertising, lead generation and marketing services only; it does not bid on, negotiate, enter into or perform home-improvement contracts. The contractor contracts with and is paid directly by the customer.

No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee rankings, call volume, lead quality, revenue, or any other outcome. Search engines, ad platforms, and review platforms are controlled by third parties who change their rules, timelines, and pricing without consulting us. We will tell you what is realistic and what is slow before you pay; we will not promise a number.

Fees and billing

Work is billed month to month. There is no setup fee and no long-term contract. Prices shown on this site are indicative until confirmed for your trade and your market. Third-party costs you incur directly — advertising budgets, domain registration, platform fees — are yours and are not part of our fee unless your agreement says so.

Cancellation

Either side may end the arrangement with notice, effective at the end of the current paid month. We do not charge a termination fee. Your site content, your profiles and any domain registered for you are yours. So are your reviews and your customer records. What happens to the site, the profiles, the phone number and FactumOps on termination is set out in “Ownership and termination” above.

Exclusivity

We work with one client per trade per market. While you are a client, we will not take on a direct competitor in the same trade in the same market.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that the business details, licenses, and insurance information you give us are accurate, and that you have the right to the photos and text you send us. Platform rules — Google's in particular — require accurate business information, and false details can get a profile suspended.

Site content and liability

Content on this site is provided as-is for general information. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FACTUM Agency is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California.
