Who you're actually dealing with
One person, one trade per market, based in San Jose, California.

I run FACTUM out of San Jose, California.
I spent twenty years in publishing before this. I founded a newspaper in the 2000s, built a city news portal in 2012 and ran it as editor-in-chief until 2019, and today I publish FACTUM — an independent Russian-language news outlet — along with a national immigration news site.
Running news sites is how I learned local search the hard way: what actually gets a small business found in Google, and what just looks like marketing. Rankings, Maps, reviews, indexing — I've been living inside those systems for years, on my own properties, with my own money.
I started FACTUM Agency because I kept meeting the same person. A tradesman with twenty years of experience, a license, insurance, and real skill — with no website, no Google profile, and no channel except word of mouth. Not because he's lazy. Because the entire process is built for people who already speak the language of marketing agencies.
So we built the opposite. You make one phone call, answer a few questions, and the system appears. No forms, no logins, no paperwork.
I'm one person with a small team, not a call center in another country. I answer the phone myself. And I don't take two competitors in the same trade in the same market.
